7:30pm
Save some face, you know you've only got one
Change your ways while you're young
Boy, one day you'll be a man
Oh girl, he'll help you understand
Tears clouded my vision, my head began to ache, i started to scream under my breath.
Smile like you mean it
Smile like you mean it
My body went limp, i couldnt move, i was glued to where i was standing
Looking back at sunsets on the Eastside
We lost track of the time
Dreams aren't what they used to be
Some things sat by so carelessly
The room began to spin, i started to rock back and forth
Smile like you mean it
Smile like you mean it
Everything blurred together in a mass of colour, objects lost shape, everything became one
And someone is calling my name
From the back of the restaurant
And someone is playing a game
In the house that I grew up in
The colours faded, everything went black, i felt the sensation of falling
And someone will drive her around
Down the same streets that I did
On the same streets that I did
My shoulder hit the ground, on impact i rolled onto my back where i lay still, eyes closed
Smile like you mean it
Smile like you mean it
Nose blocked, eyes shut, cheeks wet, so still
Smile like you mean it
Smile like you mean it
So weak, so still, so confused, so...utterly upset
Oh no, oh no no no
Oh no, oh no no no
sleep.
I don't know what happened...the closest thing i can think of is fainting, but from what i know about fainting, i wouldn't remember it so clearly. Maybe it was because i had refused to eat dinner opposite my mother, or because i hadnt drank any water in 2 days, or because i was so heavy and overhwelmed with it all.
All i know is if my phone hadn't rung at 9:45pm, thats where i would have woken up this morning.
